The Tarkio City Parks and Recreation Department and the Tarkio Rotary Club are combining their resources to purchase new umbrellas for the Tarkio Municipal Swimming Pool for the 2017 swimming season. The Rotary Club’s share of the cost is being funded by a Rotary District 6040 Grant and a matching donation from Dave and Judy Colflesh of Colflesh Insurance of Tarkio. By combining the resources of the city, Rotary and Colflesh Insurance, the Parks and Recreation Department will be able to purchase two large industrial sized umbrellas to help protect the pool attendees from the harmful rays of the sun.
