On April 28, 2017, Josie Watkins represented RPHS Music Department at MSHSAA State Music Festival on the University of Missouri – Columbia campus.
This state-level festival has an evaluative purpose during which students perform before some of the nation’s top music adjudicators who provide critiques and ratings of the students’ musical abilities.
Josie sang her two pieces bright and early on the 28th. Watkins received a I-Exemplary rating. Which is the highest rating possible. A huge congratulations to Josie for her great work!
