Among the roles to be cast are Beauty Lou, Imaginary Friend, Beast, Dusty and Slim the farmhands, Fleabite Clyde the dog, the Younger Daughters, the Older Daughters, the Country Folk and the Barnyard Critters.

Missoula Children’s Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. Rehearsal hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. so kids can have time to swim in the afternoon! Lunch will be provided for those who stay for both rehearsals. (Not everyone will rehearse at the same time). When your registration is received, a letter of information will be mailed to you with information about your week of theater rehearsals and the 2 performances that will take place Saturday, July 29, 2017, in the air conditioned auditorium at Tarkio High School. This annual event is sponsored by area organizations, businesses and individuals, as well as the Mule Barn Theatre Guild.
This year’s directors are Kady Nordstrom and Bethany Mansfield. Kady is ecstatic to be touring with the Missoula Children’s Theatre. She hails from Butte, MT, and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting at the University of Montana in Missoula. Some of her favorite theatre credits include “Maria” in The Sound of Music; “Robin” in Godspell; and “Shelby” in Steel Magnolias. When not on stage, Kady can most likely be found off in the mountains or with her nose in a book. She would like to thank her amazing friends and family for their unwavering love and support. Bethany is excited to be touring with the Missoula Children’s Theatre! Born and raised in North Carolina, Bethany now attends college in South Carolina as a sophomore BFA musical theatre student at Anderson University (South Carolina School of the Arts). Her favorite theatre credits include “Peter Pan” in Peter Pan; the “Scribe” in Liberty Mountain; and “Princess Fiona” in Shrek the Musical. Bethany would like to send a special thanks to her family and fiancé for their endless support and love.
