Dr. Leslie Alitz Wittmann will provide an outreach optometry clinic at the Fairfax Clinic Building.
The Fairfax Clinic Building, owned by Community Hospital-Fairfax (CH-F), is getting a facelift and will soon open its doors to a variety of healthcare services.
Leslie Alitz Wittmann, OD, an Atchison County native, will be providing an outreach optometry clinic as part of the Vision Source Eyecare group located in Maryville, Mo. A start date for these services is not yet available, but CH-F is hopeful to have the building available late summer 2017.
Dr. Wittmann is very excited to be working with Vision Source Eyecare and with Community Hospital-Fairfax. “I’m very excited and honored to be able to come back and serve the community and surrounding areas where I grew up and that I love,” she commented.
In addition to optometry, the hospital is planning to bring family medicine clinic hours to Fairfax.
“We want to make healthcare as accessible as possible for our community. We look forward to bringing the clinic building back into service and providing primary care closer to home for the residents of Fairfax,” explained Roger Steinkruger, CH-F CEO.
The community is encouraged to watch local papers and social media for updates on the project and news about a possible opening day.
