A Nodaway County teenager was injured Saturday, June 10, 2017, when his motorcycle struck an embankment at the intersection of Route U and Route E in Langdon, Mo.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol accident report, Logan J. Zimmerman, 18, of Graham, Mo., was westbound on Route E at 5:54 p.m. driving a 2007 Yamaha YZFR6L. The motorcycle left the west side of Route U, struck an embankment and came to rest in a field.
Zimmerman sustained serious injuries and was transported by LifeNet helicopter to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Mo. The motorcycle was totaled in the accident and was towed by Double M, Rock Port, Mo.
Tpr. N.A. Regan was the investigating officer. He was assisted by Sgt. M.P. Quilty, Tpr. N.J. Greiner, the Atchison County Sheriff’s Department, and Atchison County EMS.
