Tarkio College Alumni “Homecoming” Weekend will be here before we know it and with that comes fun-filled festivities for not only Tarkio College graduates, but also the public. A schedule of events follow:
Friday, June 23
10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. – Craft Display at Thompson Library
1:00 p.m. – Golf Tournament at Tarkio Golf Course, $20 (carts not included)
4:00 p.m. – Board Meeting at Rankin Hall
7:00 p.m. – Meet and Greet at Rankin Hall
Saturday, June 24
7:00-10:00 a.m. – Breakfast at Nutrition Site, local charges
8 a.m. – Registration for the 5K Run/Walk at the Doug Summa Memorial Park (by the Tarkio Community Building), $25
10:00 a.m. – Drama Rehearsal at Rankin Hall
12 noon – Lunch at Rankin Hall, $15*
2:00 p.m. – “Ghost Hunting is Murder” Drama at Rankin Hall, Free Will Offering*
6:30 p.m. – Barbeque at Rankin Hall, $25*
8:00 p.m. – Alumni Honors/Meeting of the Corporation at Rankin Hall
9:00 p.m. – Fireworks at Rankin Hall
Sunday, June 25
9:30 a.m. – Choir Rehearsal at the Tarkio Presbyterian Church (700 Maple St.)
10:45 a.m. – Church Service at Tarkio Presbyterian Church
11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. – Brunch at Mule Barn Café, local charges

This year’s Tarkio College honored classes are: 1947, 1952, 1957, 1962, 1967, 1972, 1977, 1982, 1987, and 1992. Tarkio College alumni and others to be recognized that weekend include: Outstanding Alumnus – Keith Hackett, class of 1976; Athletic Hall of Fame – Ronald Pratt, class of 1989, Marcus Browder, class of 1988, and Bruce Gilbert, class of 1975; and Charles M. McAdams Memorial Scholarship – Jill Schoenrock, daughter of Julie Schoenrock, class of 1986.
