Annabelle Lee Stickerod Bailey was born May 6, 1916, as the oldest of five children to Della (Grebe) and David Stickerod.  Annabelle graduated from Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri, and attended Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri, majoring in home economics.
In February 1938, she was united in marriage to Harrison Hunter Bailey and to this union they had one child, Suzanne.
Annabelle was a hard-working farmer’s wife and enjoyed her vegetable and flower gardens. She was a test gardener of iris for Jackson and Perkins Nursery.  She was so proud of winning a boat, motor and trailer enabling her to be on The Price Is Right Show.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Rock Port and a 50+ year member of the Order of Eastern Star.  For the past eight and a half years she lived with her daughter and son-in-law in Texas.  Annabelle passed away June 20, 2017, at the age of 101. Graveside service and interment were held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, June 26, 2017, in Hunter Cemetery, Rock Port and were conducted by Pastor Rodney Hopper.
Besides her parents, Annabelle was preceded in death by husband, Harrison, and three sisters.    Annabelle is also survived by daughter, Suzanne, son-in-law, Steve, granddaughter, Samantha, of whom she was so proud, and brother, David, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
