Good Samaritan Society – Auburn and Longs Creek Village Assisted Living are collaborating and will be hosting their annual ice cream social fundraiser. The event will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017, 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Longs Creek Village Assisted Living at 418 Q Street in Auburn.
Lunch will include pulled pork sandwiches, chips, and dessert, followed by ice cream and ice cream toppings. This event is free will donation with all of the proceeds going towards the residents at the Good Samaritan Society and Longs Creek Village.
This year’s goal is to provide a fun event to community residents of all ages. There will be a bounce house and live music outside in Neta’s Garden. It will also give the public a chance to view an addition to Longs Creek Village outside area: Neta’s Therapy Garden, a project that was completed last September with the help of generous donors and community members.
