East Atchison sports’ teams will begin the 2017 season starting this week. The Lady Wolves Volleyball Team will host a scrimmage against Nodaway-Holt and Union Star/King City at 5 p.m. this Thursday, August 17, in the Tarkio High School Gym. The Wolves Football Team will travel to Ludlow, Missouri, to compete against Southwest Livingston Friday, August 18, at 7 p.m.
Next week, the Lady Wolves Girls’ Golf Team will take on Northeast Nodaway at a match in Maryville, Missouri, August 22 at 4 p.m.
The following week, the East Atchison Cross Country Team will take part in the first meet of the year at the Maryville Invite August 29 at 4 p.m.
