The Commission met on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curt Livengood; South District Commissioner Richard Burke; and North District Commissioner James Quimby. Susette Taylor, Clerk of the commission was attending a Record Preservation Workshop in Jefferson City.
Presiding Commissioner Curt Livengood called the meeting to order.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Bills were reviewed, approved and ordered paid.
Monthly department reports were reviewed and approved.
The Commissioners contacted Bruce with American Boiler to discuss the repair bill on the boiler. They told him they would discuss the repair bill with Maintenance Supervisor Greg Beck and make a reasonable offer to settle the bill for replacing the pinched seal.
Sheriff Dennis Martin was in to discuss department matters.
There being no further business to come before the commission, the commission adjourned.
The Commission met on Thursday, August 10, 2017. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curt Livengood; South District Commissioner Richard Burke; and North District Commissioner James Quimby. Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission was attending the annual Missouri Association of Counties summer board meeting.

Bills were reviewed, approved and ordered paid.
Monthly department reports were reviewed and approved.
The commission continued discussion to resolve the outstanding bill to American Boiler Company. North District Commissioner Jim Quimby made a motion to pay 50% of the outstanding labor charges. South District Commissioner Richard Burke seconded the motion. Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood called for further discussion, there being none, a roll call vote to pay $4,921.61 for boiler repairs was as follows: Quimby – yes; Burke – yes; and Livengood – yes.
South District Commissioner Richard Burke contacted American Boiler and told them they had voted and approved paying 50% of the labor. Bruce with American Boiler agreed he would accept that as payment. Commissioner Burke told him the check would be mailed immediately.
The Agri Ready County signs were delivered and Presiding Commissioner Livengood contacted MoDOT to see what needed to be done have the signs placed around the county.
The commission then went out to inspect County roads.
