In preparation for the upcoming volleyball season the Lady Jays scrimmaged the South Harrison Bulldogs on Thursday, August 17. This is South Harrison’s first year for volleyball and they were looking for a scrimmage when they contacted Coach Thomas Herron. Normally the sports drink/water scrimmage is between just Rock Port players. This year the scrimmage was Lady Jays varsity hosting South Harrison. A second game followed with the Rock Port JV against South Harrison and a third game, was back to tradition between the Rock Port girls divided into teams.
The Lady Jays open the season in the EA Volleyball Tournament on Thursday against East Atchison at 4 p.m. in Tarkio.
