Kaely Kirwan and Lauren Quimby finished in the top three at the East Atchison Golf Tournament Wednesday, August 30. Lauren finished 1st with an 85 and Kaely finished 3rd with a 94.

The East Atchison Girls’ Golf Team held a tournament August 30, 2017, at the Tarkio Golf Course. Six teams competed in the event. It was a beautiful day for golf and all the girls had a great time. The East Atchison Lady Wolves won the tournament with a team score of 401. The team from Stanberry, Missouri, came in 2nd with a score of 418, followed by Rock Port in 3rd place with a score of 426, Worth County in 4th place with 459, Maysville in 5th place with 505, Albany in 6th place with 517, and Auburn in 7th place with 527.
East Atchison’s Lauren Quimby was the match medalist with an individual score of 85, followed by Allison Marticke of Stanberry in 2nd with 91, Kaely Kirwin from East Atchison in 3rd with a score of 94, Ally Demott from Rock Port in 4th with 99, and Allie Gage from Stanberry in 5th with 102. Other individual EA results include: Chloe Bruns, 109; Jae Barnett, 123; and Bella Hurst, 113.
