Delores Jean Howard, 90, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, at Tiffany Heights Nursing Home, Mound City, Missouri.
Delores was born on August 16, 1927, in Craig, Missouri, to General and Lena (Haer) Randall. She attended Center Country School at Craig, Missouri, and graduated from Craig R-3 School, Craig, Missouri.
Delores was married to Clavel Howard on May 25, 1945. They celebrated 55 years of marriage and together raised their seven children. Delores was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She attended the First Christian Church, Craig, Missouri.
Mrs. Howard is survived by her children, Tom (Elisa) Howard, Chris Howard, Jason (Judy) Howard, Jim (Lynn) Howard, Angie (Steve) Binder, and Gina Smith; daughter-in-law Patty Howard; three brothers, Allan (Maxine) Randall, Phillip (Wilma) Randall, and Nelson (Theresa) Randall; three sisters, Marcia (Robert) Castleberry, Karen (Noel) Fisher, Janice Phelps; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband Clavel Howard, parents General and Lena Randall, son Stephen Howard, son-in-law Lyle Smith, and brother-in-law Ralph Phelps.
Services were held Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, at River of Hope Fellowship Church, Mound City, Missouri. Interment was at IOOF Cemetery, Craig, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to the Mound City Nutrition Site, Mound City, Missouri.
Services were under the direction of Schooler Funeral Home, Fairfax, Missouri.
