Community Hospital-Fairfax Auxiliary met September 21, 2017, with 14 members reciting the opening prayer.
Roger Steinkruger gave an interesting update on the changes and advancements in our local health care programs and facilities. It was discussed that a future meeting, the group may tour the new Senior Life Solutions building.
The fall and winter items continue to arrive at the Sunshine Corner Gift Shop. We hope you’ll be able to stop in and check them out. Some of the new items were taken to the Winefest in Mound City.
The auxiliary is thankful for the support shown for the annual quilt raffle. This year’s lucky winner was Aimee Seymour from Fairfax. The auxiliary purchased a lab microscope. The hospital has been using it and sent a card of appreciation.
The auxiliary members hope you’ll put the following dates and fundraisers on your calendars:
November 21 – Fall Bake Sale
December 7 – Poinsettia Sale
The next meeting will be Thursday, October 29, at 1:30 p.m. The auxiliary invites anyone interested in joining the group to the meeting in the hospital conference room.
