The Atchison-Holt Unit of the Missouri Retired Teachers Association and Public School Personnel (MRTA) will meet November 2, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. at The Shop in Mound City. Mound City MRTA members are providing the lunch. Gay Dittemore, Region I Vice President, will be the guest speaker. Members are asked to bring a monetary donation for the local food pantry.
Rana Killingsworth and Phyllis Dannar will give a report of the Region I meeting held in Plattsburg.
MRTA was organized in 1960 and is an association of certified and noncertified education retirees numbering over 26,000 members. MRTA has been and remains a major player in establishing Missouri’s educational pension system as one of the nation’s best.
