Applications are now being taken for Thanksgiving Senior Baskets for Tarkio/Westboro residents (only). If you know of a senior citizen in need this holiday season please let us know. Applications are available at Community Services in Tarkio or at the Tarkio First Baptist Church or by contacting Joan 660-253-0087. Applicants may need to meet financial requirements and need to be 60 or older. Also, if your group would like to purchase or make a basket, please contact the Tarkio First Baptist Church.
With changes being made at Community Services, applications are now being accepted for the Adopt A Child Program for Tarkio and Westboro residents (only). The county worker is now only in the office two days a week, so unfortunately time is limited. To apply, call Community Services at 660-736-4646 or apply through Ministerial Alliance by calling Joan at 660-253-0087. The deadline to apply is November 28 (NO EXCEPTIONS). If you or your church or group would like to adopt you may do so now. Gifts are not due until December 14. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the First Baptist Church.
