Fairfax FCCLA Chapter members Chaos Powers and Morgan O’Riley and Tarkio FCCLA members Jordan Heard, Jordyn Bates-Hogue, Skye Clark, Alex Somerville, Camille Gibson, and Novalee Yeary attended the 2017 Missouri Family, Career and Community Leaders of America Fall Leadership Conference October 16-17 at Tan-Tar-A Resort, located in Osage Beach. Approximately 1,000 FCCLA members from Missouri, along with advisers and chaperones, attended the conference.
FCCLA students were able to choose from a variety of different sessions. Sunday included a general session and a keynote by Ryan Underwood, CEO and co-founder of TRI Leadership. Monday sessions included trainings in leadership, FCCLA programming and a variety of other topics. Trainings were given by Missouri FCCLA State Officers and TRI Leadership. Members were inspired to help others and become a better positive leader.
Fairfax members along with chaperone Sam O’Riley and adviser Donna Million visited Bagnell Dam and took in the fall sites while visiting the area.
