Mark your calendars for the second annual #ShopAC night, coordinated by ACDC! This shop local event is strategically scheduled on the Thursday before Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday, giving Atchison County residents a timely opportunity to explore what we have to offer right here in Atchison County (AC).  On Thursday, November 16, at least 25 stores in AC will be open until 8 p.m., offering specials or highlighting specific products.
The more you shop, the more chances you have to win.  Passports will be available at all participating locations that night.  With each store you visit that Thursday night, your passport will be marked, and you’ll be entered to win one of three $100 gift certificates to any business in AC.  However, if you are unable to participate on #ShopAC night, you can still shop to win.  Any purchase made at a participating store on #ShopAC night  or anytime through Thursday, November 30, will earn you a mark in your passport, which will enter you in a drawing for a $200 gift certificate to an AC business of your choice.  In order to be entered in the drawing, passports must be returned to any participating business by Thursday, November 30, at 5 p.m.  Gift certificates given to the winners of the drawing, which will be held by December 4, must be used by December 25.
The current list of participants includes A Perfect 10, Atchison County Veterinary Clinic, Alma’s Herbs, Community Hospital-Fairfax Auxiliary Gift Shop (along with Keep Jewelry, Little Red’s Keeper of the Bees, Memories in the Baking/Pampered Chef, Tomboy Tools and Young Essential Oils), Daybreak Cafe, Do It Best, Ella&Grey, EM’s Emporium, Flower Mill, Food Country, Groovy’s Cuts & Tees, Hidden Beauty, Hy-Vee, KG Buds, Living Well on Main, MDT Woodworks, Midwest Data Smart Store, Quilters Boutique, Quilted Farm, Stoner Drug, Tarkio Avalanche, The Walnut Shop, The Wood’s Shed, Torrey Pines, and Trails End (convenience store and Subway).  Stay tuned to the ad in next week’s paper and to ACDC’s Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/atchisoncountydevelopment/) for an updated listing.
