Jake and Amy Francis of Urbandale, IA, are excited to announce the birth of their baby girl, Aubrey Caroline. Aubrey was born at 11:17 a.m. on October 10, 2017, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. She weighed 8 pounds, 14.5 oz, and was 20 1/2 inches long. She was welcomed home by big brothers, Tyrus 8, Hayden 5, and Luke 21 months. Maternal grandparents are Sarah Van Meter of Rock Port and the late Gordon Van Meter. Paternal grandparents are Jud and Joan Francis of Monona, IA. Maternal great-grandmother and namesake is Helen Caroline Van Meter of Olathe, KS.
