The October 19, 2017, meeting of the Community Hospital-Fairfax Auxiliary opened with 12 members reciting the opening prayer. The minutes of the previous meeting and the treasurer’s reports were read and approved. Roger Steinkruger, Hospital CEO, gave an interesting and informative Administration Report.
The Auxiliary is appreciative of the community support in our Gift Shop and we welcome you to come and see the new fall and winter items in the shop. Remember to check us out when it comes to buying Christmas gifts for your friends and loved ones. The shop will be open and participating in the Shop Atchison County Night on Thursday, November 16, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. We hope you will come and see us! As always, all proceeds go to purchase new equipment and update the surroundings of our hospital.
We are looking forward to the following annual fund raising events and hope you will put them on your calendar and join us too:
• November 21st is our Fall Bake Sale from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• November 30th is the Poinsettia Sale from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Our next regular meeting will be November 16th at 1:30 p.m. All of the above events will be in the Hospital Conference Room. We welcome anyone who would like to join us!
