Plans are being made for the annual Tarkio Christmas Celebration Saturday, December 2, 2017. This event, sponsored by the Tarkio Chamber of Commerce, Tarkio Lions Club, Mule Barn Theatre Guild, and THS Senior Parents, will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tarkio Community Building at 603 S. 3rd Street. Children will be able to have their pictures taken with Santa, as well as make ornaments, decorate pictures and cards for Tarkio Rehab residents, and shop for parents and family members at Santa’s own little gift shop (each item will be $1). Attendees will also be able to dine on free chili and hot dogs provided by the Tarkio Lions Club.
Vendors are also encouraged to set up at the event at no charge. Call Craig at 660-736-5254 to register a booth.
