East Atchison is hosting its “Winter Wonderland” Homecoming Friday, December 15, 2017. The homecoming basketball games will be held in Fairfax and will be played against Nodaway-Holt starting at 5 p.m. Kings and queens from Tarkio High School and Fairfax High School will be crowned following the games.
The Wolves Wrestling Team will also be hosting their first home competition of the season that week. The Tarkio Quad meet will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, in the Tarkio High School Gym.

Tarkio High School Homecoming Royalty includes – King Colin Joesting and Queen candidates Hannah Blank and Tawni Martin; junior attendants Lily Graves and Gage McAdams; sophomore attendants Dixie Hendrix and Austin Anderson; and freshmen attendants Ella Rolf and Jordan Graf.
To go along with the overall theme of “Winter Wonderland,” Tarkio High School classes have picked the following Holiday themed movies:
Seniors – “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”
Juniors – “Elf”
Sophomores – “Home Alone”
Freshmen – “A Christmas Carol”
8th Graders – “Christmas Vacation”
7th – “Polar Express”
The Tarkio students will participate in the following dress up days:
Monday – Christmas Morning (Pajamas)
Tuesday – Ugly Christmas Sweaters
Wednesday – Your Favorite Christmas Character
Thursday – Christmas Hats or Headgear
Friday – Wolf Friday

Fairfax High School Homecoming Royalty includes: King candidates Max Hopkins, Zach Garrison, and Tyler Brown; Queen candidates Kinley Thornhill and Shelbey Morris; and attendant is Jaycee Graves.
The Fairfax students will participate in the following dress up days:
Monday – Pajama Day
Tuesday – Ugly Sweater Day
Wednesday – White Out Day
Thursday – Christmas Season Character Day
Friday – Spirit Day
A pep rally will be held at Fairfax during the school day on Friday and a student dance will follow the game Friday night.
Everyone is encouraged to come out and cheer on the Wolves and Lady Wolves in their athletic events and support our local students in their homecoming celebrations!
