Tarkio Girl Scout Troop 8296 met at the First Baptist Church Thursday, December 7, 2017. Atchison County Deputy Andy Riley, top on the left, was onhand to help the girls create Identi-kits. The kits are something parents can keep in case their child goes missing. It includes recent photos, information, and hair samples for the use of DNA. The Girl Scouts, including Jenna Gebhards and Gabby Shubkagel, above, also enjoyed making candy cane reindeer at the meeting.
