The Community Hospital Auxiliary met on November 16, 2017, with 15 members reciting the Auxiliary Prayer. The minutes of the previous meeting and the treasurer’s report were read and approved.
The Auxiliary members present were given a tour of the new Senior Life Solutions Building. It is very nice and a wonderful asset to our Health Care System. Kris Umbarger gave a very informative presentation on the Community Benefit Report for 2016.
Our gift shop had discounted and half-price items for sale on Shop Atchison County Night. Our group hosted the Appreciation Tea for the Hospital Employees on November 30th from 2-4. We also held the annual Poinsettia Sale on that date. The employees could enter their name in a drawing for one of our beautiful poinsettias.
We are now looking forward to our annual Chili/Vegetable Soup Supper. It will be held on January 30 before the EA Wolves take on the  Rockets in Fairfax. Please put it on your calendar and join us for a great meal!
We will not be having a regular meeting in December, but we welcome anyone who would like to come and join our group on January 18, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. in the Hospital Conference Room.
