The East Atchison basketball teams hosted the Nodaway-Holt Trojans in EA’s Winter Homecoming contests Friday, December 15, 2017, in Fairfax. It was a fantastic night for EA basketball as all teams won their games!
The jr. varsity Wolves won their game 25-12. Kaden Cooper led EA with 11 points (two three-pointers), followed by Trey Bowling with eight, and Briacin Bywater, Wyatt Burke, and tyler Jennings with two points each.
The varsity Lady Wolves won their contest 74-26. Jaycee Graves led EA with 23 points, followed by Lily Graves, Kilea Cooper, Madison Ohrt, and Brynnan Poppa with eight each (Madison had two three-pointers), Morgan Parshall added seven points (one three-pointer), Mercedes Parshall added six, Grace Martin had four, and Chloe Bruns had two.
The varsity Wolves won their contest 68-57. Jake McEnaney led the Wolves with 17 points (three three-pointers), followed by Gage McAdams with 15 (three three-pointers), Ian Hedlund with 10, Tyler Brown with nine (three three-pointers), Colin Joesting with eight, Shae DeRosier with four, Max Hopkins with three, and Zach Garrison with two.
