The TEC Club met at my home Tuesday, December 12, 2017, for our annual Christmas buffet luncheon with members bringing their favorite food. Each year we invite the ladies who keep our games going by substituting for absent members. We call at the last moment to complete our tables of four and couldn’t maintain our club without them. Krys Carlock, Millie Hurst, Debbie Johnson, Margie O’Riley, Judy Raya, Sharon Smith and Suzanne Southard were our guests. With three tables playing, it was Susan Braams’ job to keep the winners and losers going to the right tables. I think she can use that as the reason she had the low score. Norma Bradfield won high, and Suzanne Southard, second high.
After the games we enjoyed apple pie and ice cream while we exchanged gifts, everything from duct tape to Christmas ornaments. The conversation centered around who had been to the new Dusty Trail, what they had to eat, and the price they paid. Christmas plans took over and with twelve people talking at once, I couldn’t keep up with it. As everyone left on a beautiful December day there was a lot of “Merry Christmas” in the air. And to you, our readers, we wish you a “Merry Christmas” too.
