As we close the door on 2017, we are elated to celebrate our 68th year of providing quality healthcare to our communities. What a year it has been! Thanks to our tremendous donors, staff, patients, and the community support that keeps us going, we have truly been blessed in 2017.
Community Hospital-Fairfax has welcomed numerous new staff members to our team of compassionate healthcare providers. We have expanded primary care services by welcoming Tammy Sparks, FNP and Katrina Lock, FNP-BC. A formal merger of Community Hospital-Fairfax and longtime partners Aron Burke, M.D. and Joanna Burke, PNP was celebrated in July.
We’ve welcomed James Fleming M.D. to provide a Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic. Community Hospital – Fairfax also partnered with Vision Source Eyecare to provide an outreach optometry clinic in Fairfax with Leslie Alitz Wittmann, O.D.
Community Hospital – Fairfax Senior Life Solutions was recognized as one of the top five programs of its kind in the nation. To accommodate a growing program, a new Senior Life Solutions building was brought to the CH-F campus.
Along with serving the health needs of our community, Community Hospital-Fairfax was named to the National Advisory Council with electronic medical record provider CPSI, and recognized with the Quality of Life Award from Atchison County Development Corporation.
As we look forward to 2018, the Community Healthcare Foundation and Community Hospital-Fairfax invite you to be a part of healthcare in Northwest Missouri by making a donation to the Community Healthcare Foundation. Your contribution is vital to ensuring that quality healthcare will remain in our communities for generations to come.
What will your generous gift support?
Over the next three years, Community Hospital-Fairfax has over $1 million in capital improvement needs. Your generous contribution will help us meet Meaningful Use Stage III Certification for our electronic medical record. Updates to our electronic medical records will make patients’ health data digital, safe, and accessible.
Community Hospital-Fairfax looks forward to providing primary care hours in the Fairfax Family Medicine Clinic and expanding Senior Life Solutions to include another track of ten individuals. Updates to our pharmacy will allow for sterile compounding and help us meet future regulatory standards. We also look forward to cutting edge technology updates to Laboratory Services.
If you would like to support our commitment to our community, we humbly ask that you consider a donation. Donations to Community Hospital-Fairfax and the Community Healthcare Foundation are tax-deductible. Interested donors may send their contributions via mail to Community Hospital-Fairfax, Attn.
