A donation to the Fairfax R-3 School District for their Helping Children in Need program was recently made by the Fairfax Masonic Lodge 483. Local organizations contributing to the matching funds were represented by Marilyn Alldredge and Sandy Fisher, XI Lambda Beta; Amy Sefrit, United Methodist Church; Stanley Osburn, American Legion; Jay Smith, Optimist Club; Craig Livengood, Farmers State Bank; and Jack Kruse and Bob Alldredge, Kiwanis Club. Marisa Hedlund, Fairfax R-3 counselor; received a check from Jack Vernon, Masons.

The Fairfax Masonic Lodge 483, in conjunction with the Masonic Home of Missouri, presented a check for $3,200 to the Fairfax R-3 School District for its Helping Children in Need program. This is the third year that the Fairfax Lodge and Masonic Home of Missouri have partnered in making a donation to the program. The total for the three years is $7,700. Thanks to all the local organizations and individuals who support the program.
