In a letter received Saturday from Mr. and Mrs. L. O. Kennedy at Phoenix, Arizona, word came to Pryor Stepp, a brother of Mrs. Kennedy, that Lieut. Larry Kennedy was missing in action. Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy received the word from the War Department and their letter stated he had been missing since December 11. Larry had been in Egypt for the past several months, had seen much active service in that area, and was commander of a bomber squadron that had participated in the recent drive against General Rommel’s German army. Missing in action may mean that his plane has been forced down somewhere and that he has been where he is unable to report.
