The East Atchison basketball teams hosted DeKalb in jr. varsity and varsity action Tuesday, January 2, 2018, in Tarkio.
The jr. varsity Lady Wolves lost their contest 18-14. Cheyenne Gray led EA with six points, followed by Novalee Yeary with four, and Brynnan Poppa and Harley Caudill with two each.
The varsity Lady Wolves won their game 40-29. Jaycee Graves led EA with 16 points, followed by Kilea Cooper with seven (two three-pointers), Lily Graves and Kinley Thornhill with four points each, Chloe Bruns with three, and Madison Ohrt, Mercedes Parshall, and Morgan Parshall with two points each. The win put the Lady Wolves’ overall record at 10 wins and one loss.
The varsity Wolves won their game 59-43. Gage McAdams led EA with 18 points (two three-pointers), followed by Jake McEnaney with 16 (two three-pointers), Colin Joesting and Ian Hedlund with six each, Tyler Brown with five (one three-pointer), Shae DeRosier with four, and Trey Bowling and Max Hopkins with two each.
