On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, Atchison County Head Start held it’s monthly parent meeting.  This is when parents come together to exchange or participate in activities to benefit their family.  Norma Eckerson from Community Services Inc., presented Fun Food with Family.  The parents and kids made mac and cheese muffins, crunchy tacos, mini tortilla pizzas, and then fruit and veggie ninja turtles.  A fun time was had by all.  If you would like your preschool age child to participate in Head Start we are doing intakes for the 2017-18 as well as the 2018-2019 school year, contact the center at 660-744-2616.  Hope to hear from you soon.
