The Tarkio Fire Department was recently able to purchase new tools thanks to the donations received from the annual fund drive. The Hurst E-tools include the jaws of life (spreaders), cutters, and ram. All tools are hydraulic driven and battery powered; there are no hoses to attach them to a power source. It took two years to accumulate the funds to purchase these tools. The Tarkio Fire Department greatly appreciates the continued support from the property owners in our fire district.
