The United Methodist Church in Tarkio will be having a Chili/Soup Cook-Off and Cinnamon Roll/Sticky Bun Throwdown on Sunday evening, February 11. The event is open to the public and will be held in the fellowship hall of the church building, located at 201 North 6th Street, starting at 5 p.m. Everyone of all ages is welcome and encouraged to enter the competition, however, if not wanting to compete, then just plan to attend for the free meal of chili, soup and cinnamon rolls and vote for a favorite. Entries should be in place no later than 5 p.m.
There will be three categories this year: Best Chili, Best Soup, and Best Cinnamon Roll. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded in each category. Winners will be announced around 6:30 p.m. Plan now to have some fun on a winter’s evening by participating in or attending this event.
