Tarkio Elementary students wore red on Friday, February 2, 2018. February is designated as American Heart Month to bring attention and awareness to the prevalence and severity of heart disease in the United States. National Wear Red Day is held on the first Friday in February every year to raise awareness about heart disease being the No. 1 killer of women.
