Ms. Amy’s and Ms. Katie’s class at Atchison County Head Start continued their friends theme this week, and focused on bucket-filling (building one another up). The children really enjoyed giving each other compliments, finding the good in everyone and everything. We also made projects for parents, pom-pom hearts, experimented with fizzy hearts, played heart games, and participated in a Valentine’s Day exchange.
The children in Ms. Sandi’s class at Atchison County Head Start learned about Valentine’s Day over the last few weeks. The children enjoyed making Valentines to take home to their loved ones, bringing their Valentine boxes or bags they made to school and participating in an exchange.
