The Commission met Thursday, February 1, 2018. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, North District Commissioner Jim Quimby, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, and Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission.
Presiding Commissioner Livengood called the meeting to order.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Bills were reviewed, approved and ordered paid.
Monthly department reports from the Public Administrator, Circuit Clerk and Recorder were reviewed and approved.
After reviewing the Risk Management/Internal Control Policy, North District Commissioner Quimby made a motion to approve as presented. The motion was seconded by South District Commissioner Burke. Presiding Commissioner Livengood called for further discussion. There being none, a roll call vote to approve and adopt the Risk Management/Internal Control Policy was as follows: Livengood – yes; Quimby – yes; and Burke – yes. Policy will be on file in the Clerk’s office.
Road and Bridge Supervisor Adam Meyer reported that the state has started the 2018 bridge inspections.
The commission reviewed the bid terms for the pasture/landfill hay ground lease. They all agreed to return to a three-year lease period. Bid opening for the new lease will be Thursday, April 5. Specifications and terms will be advertised and bid specification sheets will be available in the Clerk’s office.

The Commission met Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Present were: North District Commissioner Jim Quimby and South District Commissioner Richard Burke. Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood was attending Great Northwest Day in Jefferson City and a hearing at the Capitol on prevailing wage law. Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission was absent.
South District Commissioner Burke called the meeting to order.

South District Commissioner Burke represented the commission at a local Farm Bureau presentation on wind energy and the revenue benefits to the county.

The Commission did not meet on Thursday, February 8, 2018. All commissioners were attending mandatory training in Columbia.
