The students enjoyed FHA/Hero Week. Wednesday marked the day when two teachers were hidden on the school grounds and the rest of the faculty spent lunch hour searching for them. Clay Hilsabeck found the teachers in the ag building basement. The weeklong scavenger hunt was a disappointment as the students and teachers enjoyed using the daily clues to search for the hidden ruler, but gave up too soon and the hiding place had to be revealed. Eric Bradfield won the caramel apple eating contest and Dusty Jones won the baby bottle drinking contest.

Found in an abandoned well in Omaha 23 years ago, the cistern twins of 1920 may meet soon in Twin Falls. It would be their first meeting in two decades. One twin is former Fairfax resident Mrs. Dick Catron (Betty Jayne Surigar), adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arch Shurigar of Rock Port. Discovery of the twins, one in a granite bucket, the other in a basket, in the well July 24, 1920, was a national sensation. Search for the parents ended in failure. Adopted by different families, the twins lost contact.
