The TEC Club met Tuesday, February 13, 2018, at Aunt Martha’s B & B with all members present, an unusual event in itself. Everyone was so glad to be together again since bad weather had caused two cancellations. What’s life without a game? Pam Cooper won high, and Susan Braams second high with only one point between the two. Norma Bradfield had low score.
Mary Anne Pennel was hostess serving a cherry cheese cake in honor of George chopping down the cherry tree. What father would give his kid an axe for his sixth birthday anyway? At least that’s the way the story goes. Another happy event followed. We all lifted our glasses to drink a toast to our two members whose chemotherapy was over. Martha supplied a delicious carbonated cider for the occasion. And amid the usual rounds of laughter, we left in high spirits.
