The MSHSAA Wrestling Championships were held in Columbia, Mo., on Friday and  Saturday, February  9 – 10, 2018. At 106# Class 1: Ethan Wood (RP) (37-12) had a 5th place finish.  Following are his match results:  Champ. Round 1 – Ethan Wood (RP) over Kaden Crane (Palmyra) (MD 12-2); Quarterfinals – Levi Connelly (Seneca) over Ethan Wood (RP) (Fall 1:20); Cons. Round 2 – Ethan Wood (RP) over Nicky O’Toole (Centralia) (Fall 0:32); Cons. Round 3 – Ethan Wood (RP) over Jason Strope (Fatima) (Dec 7-1); Cons. Semis – Sam Wilhelm (Knob Noster) over Ethan Wood (RP) (Dec 6-4)
5th Place Match – Ethan Wood (RP) over Keegan Allen (Gallatin).

Representing RPHS, Ethan Wood took the 106# fifth place on the podium at the MSHSAA Wrestling Championships on Saturday, February 10, 2018.

Rock Port High School’s Ethan Wood took fifth place at 106# in the wrestle backs.
