Ethan Sickels has been employed as the new superintendent for the Rock Port R-II School District.  Mr. Sickels has been the High School Principal for the district since August 2017.  In addition to the Rock Port school system Mr. Sickels has 11 years prior experience in school administration.
Rich Dewhirst, President of the Rock Port R-II Board of Education stated, “Our board could not be more excited in the selection of Mr. Sickels.  He’s been a great asset to our school, and he will continue the strong leadership that our current superintendent has set for the district.”
Mr. Sickels commented, “I am very anxious to get started in the new position of Superintendent of the Rock Port R-II School District.  I look forward to working in the community, with the board, the teachers, and the students to continue the excellence of the Rock Port school system.”  Mr. Sickels formally begins his new position on July 1, 2018.
