There will be a short meeting for the parents of 2018-2019 kindergarten stu­dents on Tuesday, March 13, at 5:30 p.m. in the elementary library. The kindergarten handbook will be distributed and kindergarten procedures and expectations will be discussed. Parents are asked to bring a copy of their student’s birth certificate and Social Security card to the meeting.
On Thursday, March 29, kindergarten screenings for students who will be entering kindergarten this fall will take place at Tarkio Elementary. Appointments can be made by calling the elementary at 660-736-4177, prior to the screening date if you are unable to attend this meeting.
The VIP Day will be on Friday, April 20. The future kindergarteners will arrive at 8:30 a.m., become familiar with the classroom, and take a bus ride. Parents are invited to eat lunch with their children and following lunch, they may take their children with them.
