Bryon Grebe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Grebe, who is attending school at Fort Collins, Colorado, sends his parents word that he has won the title of grand champion showman on hogs at the Little International livestock show which was held at the Fort Collins college. Titleholders were selected from 42 students who fitted and showed one or more animals. The showing consisted of hogs, cattle and sheep. Byron was awarded a trophy with his name engraved on it for this champion showman prize. He also won first place on gilt, first on Hampshire sheep, had the reserve champion sheep and third on showing of all live stock. The show was rated as the most successful Little International ever held on the college campus with competition the strongest it has ever been. Young Grebe got his preliminary vocational agriculture training in Rock Port High School.

Danny K. Herron was promoted to the rank of sergeant in the Air Force February 1. He is presently serving with the Crash and Recovery Unit at Bien Hoa, Vietnam. He is married to the former Rebecca Hall. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Robert Herron, Watson.
Rob Roy Greenley, son of Mrs. Nannie Greenley, Rock Port, has been selected for promotion to full Colonel in the Air Force, according to word received this week. Greenley has been in the service for 25 years and is presently stationed at Andrews Air Force Base near Washington, D.C. He and his wife Naomi and their three children, Nancy, Robin and Jack, live in McLean, Virginia.

On Tuesday, March 9, the Rock Port Chapter of National Honor Society held their annual informal tapping ceremony. Students with a B average or better were considered. A seven member faculty council voted on the nominees. Students were chosen for their grades, leadership, character and academics. Those chosen were: Phil Eilers, Jowett Bastow, Brady Owen, Cyndee Herron, Dani Meinders, Cory Scamman, Amy Taylor, Martin Carpenter and Tim Moran.
