The Watson Quilters met Thursday night with Becky Mortimore, Holly Holmes, Donna Whelan, Anita Armstrong, and Francis Nahkunst attending. Each one did their own thing.
I met some long lost relatives on Saturday. Isn’t it funny how some family traits show up even though we’d never been around them?
FORESTS
If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around, does it make a sound?
Of course it does.
But there are those who say, “Until the sound waves hit the inner ear, there is no sound.”
How many forests don’t have a deer? A rabbit? A squirrel? Even a mouse hears it. There’s always something that hears it. Maybe they don’t yell “Timber,” but it still makes a noise. “Those people” don’t have to be there.
That’s like this one: “Which comes first, the chicken or the egg?” It’s so simple. All you have to do is read the first chapter of Genesis.
