Chelsea Miller, PLPC, is the new Program Therapist at Community Hospital-Fairfax’s Senior Life Solutions.

Community Hospital- Fairfax (CH-F) is pleased to welcome local, familiar face Chelsea Miller, PLPC, as the new Program Therapist at the Senior Life Solutions program. Miller is the second therapist to join the team, along with Sarah Watkins, LPC, Program Therapist who started April of 2016. Having two Program Therapists on board will allow the Senior Life Solutions program to expand the number of patients served.
Miller is returning to Fairfax after spending time in Kansas City as a mental health therapist. She earned her B.A. in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Human Development/Family Studies from the University of Missouri-Columbia and received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
“Providing mental health services in a rural community has been a long-term goal of mine, and I am honored to have the opportunity to return to my hometown and provide these services as a part of the team at Community Hospital-Fairfax’s Senior Life Solutions,” Miller said.
Senior Life Solutions, an intensive outpatient group therapy program, is designed to meet the unique needs of older adults over the age of 65 struggling with depression and anxiety often related to aging. Miller added, “The importance of providing mental health services and resources to seniors is apparent, and I am thankful that our community has a program like Senior Life Solutions.”
