JV wins one of two

The East Atchison Wolves’ baseball winning streak continued this past week with the varsity Wolves defeating Platte Valley 6-4 on Monday, April 9, and West Nodaway 11-9 on Thursday, April 12. The Wolves have been on a roll so far this season despite a cold weather start. They’ve thrown two shut-out games and have continued to keep the competition at bay in their other contests, including against West Nodaway when the Wolves overcame a tie and scored in the 10th inning to win the game.
