Class 1 District 8 Golf was held on Monday, April 30, at the St. Joseph County Club & Golf Course. Out of the boys playing from Atchison County two are going on to sectionals.    Rock Port senior Jase Hughes qualified placing 9th shooting a 93 and Rock Port sophomore Ethan Brumbaugh placed 16th with a score of 101.
Other individual scores inclided: Kalen LaHue, RP, 27th place, 117; Drew Weber, RP, 27th, 117; Zack Sapp, EA, 34th, 121; Fischer Tharp, RP, 36th place, 122 and Kaden Cooper, EA, 46th place, 137.  As a team Rock Port placed 4th with a score of 428.
Class 1 District 4  Sectionals will be held on May 7, 2018, at the Mozingo Lake Golf Course in Maryville, MO.
