The East Atchison varsity Wolves’ baseball team had a tough go-around against the King City/Union Star Wildcats Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Tarkio. The game took place in beautiful weather, but the Wolves were playing with a few strikes against them. Several players were not in attendance due to other commitments (thus players filled in at positions they don’t normally cover) and regular starting pitchers Gage McAdams and Jake McEnaney had both reached their pitch limits for the week. Despite the setbacks, each player gave it their all, but ultimately the Wolves could not persevere and fell to the King City/Union Star Wildcats 2-15.
