The Tarkio Elementary 4th grade visited Jefferson City, Missouri, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. A total of 26 students and 22 adults took in the sites of an Archives Alive performance and tour at the Missouri State Archives building (also the office of the Secretary of State), the Museum of Military History, Missouri State Capitol Building where the students were greeted by Rep. Allen Andrews (pictured with the students above), and the Supreme Court Building with a visit from Tarkio’s own Chief Justice Zel Fischer.
