Children in Atchison County will be treated to either a workshop or a performance by Mad Science in June of 2018. Families should put these dates on their calendars!
If you live in Tarkio, make plans to attend a Mad Science workshop at the Community Building, Thursday morning ,June 7. The Science of Music workshop is at 9:30 a.m. and Sonic Sound will be at 10:30 a.m. Sign-up starts Thursday, May 10, at your library in Tarkio.
Workshops for Fairfax kids will be held at the Community Room at the Fire House on Thursday afternoon June 7. The Science of Music starts at 1 p.m. and Sonic Sound starts at 2 p.m.

Ages and enrollment limits for the above mentioned Mad Science workshops are: Science of Music: ages 4, 5, 6 – enrollment limit 20. Sonic Sounds: ages 7 through 11 – enrollment limit of 25.
Mad Science will be in performance at the Atchison County Memorial Building in Rock Port at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 14. Libraries Rock will be a program about sound, and it promises to be noisy! This program is for all ages, but the primary target is age 4 through 12. No sign-up is required, and everyone is welcome.
Mad Science of Greater Kansas City is an educational group providing science enrichment programs for children. All presentations of Mad Science are sponsored by The Atchison County Library.
