Come out to Maryville Aquatic Center and meet Josh the Otter on Friday, June 1, at 7 p.m. Hear about his story and learn some tips on how to stay safe around water and practice your back float with Aquatic Center lifeguards! There is no charge for this event. Children ages 7 and under are welcome to attend.
Saturday, June 2, Departure is playing at Donaldson West Side Park Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. to kick off their Concerts in the Park series! The first of three concerts to be held in the month of June for the Concerts in the Park Series is presented by Tri State Maryville. Bring the whole family and invite friends as the concert is free of charge! Let the good times roll with HyVee Food and Spirits, and a fun-filled kid zone!
Hear the train a comin’ on Saturday, June 9, where One More Round: A Tribute to Johnny Cash is performing live at Donaldson West Side Park Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. as the second concert of their Concerts in the Park series! Blow your blues away… at the free concert in the park!
Celebrate Flag Day Thursday, June 14, at 5:30 p.m. at Franklin Park where the Freedom Rock Plaza lies. Make sure to bring your bikes as there will be patriotic decorations to trick out your bike in the colors we love and parade them around the park! Presenting of the colors will kick off the event with the national anthem, and invocation. The bike parade will begin at approximately 6 p.m. Maryville Lions will be cooking hotdogs and hamburgers, with all proceeds going to the plaza, so make sure to bring your appetite!
And last but not least, Revelation: A Tribute to Journey will be rockin’ out at Donaldson West Side Park Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 16. This is the last chance to experience the Concerts in the Park Series presented by Tri State Maryville, and will have you wondering Why This Night Can’t Go On Forever!
